"I have been longing to visit
Yosemite National Park and its surrounding area for such a long time. As Product
Manager for American Holidays for the last 6 years, I have been hearing about
what a wonderful destination it is. I finally made it there recently and stopped
overnight in the town of Mariposa, right on Yosemite’s doorstep. This is a
quaint little town with lovely curious and antique shops in the main street. The
restaurants and cafes look very inviting and the food is excellent. We had the
pleasure of staying a stones throw from the main street in a very nice property
featuring private luxury suites called the “5th Street Inn”. We stayed in the
“Bridalveil” suite which is named after one of the waterfalls in Yosemite
National Park. Our room was very spacious and had full kitchen facilities, ample
room for lounging in front of the TV and had one of the tallest beds that I have
every seen. I almost needed a step up to climb into the bed which I have to say
was one of the best nights sleep I had in our entire holiday. I would definitely
recommend an overnight stay here in this property in Mariposa on a pre or post
visit to Yosemite. Looking at the guest book in our room, everyone wrote such
great views, enjoyed their stay and intended to return!"
